Grünfeld, Heinrich

Grünfeld, Heinrich, Austrian cellist and teacher, brother of Alfred Grünfeld; b. Prague, April 21, 1855; d. Berlin, Aug. 26, 1931. He studied at the Prague Cons. He went to Berlin in 1876, and taught at Kullak’s Academy; also played chamber music. He publ. a book of memoirs, In Dur und Moll (Berlin, 1924).
