Huggler, John
Huggler, John, American composer; b. Rochester, N.Y., Aug. 30, 1928. He studied atthe Eastman School of Music in his hometown (graduated, 1950), and with Charles Warren Fox (musicology) and Dante Fiorillo (composition). He received 2 Guggenheim fellowships (1962, 1969), and also served as composer-in-residence of the Boston Sym. Orch. (1964–65).
