Ibéria. No.2 of Debussy's Images for orch. Comp. 1905–8, f.p. 1910, Paris. In 3 sections: 1. Par les Rues et par les chemins (By highways and byways); 2. Les Parfums de la nuit (Night Scents); 3. Le Matin d'un jour de fête (Morning of festival day). This evocation of Sp. was written by a composer who went to Sp. for one day in his life—to see a bullfight.
