King, Harold Charles

King, Harold Charles, Swiss-born Dutch composer; b. Winterthur, Dec. 30, 1895; d. Amsterdam, June 12, 1984. He went to the Netherlands to study engineering at the Delft Technical Univ. He served as a management consultant with a municipal corporation in Amsterdam, and while thus occupied took composition lessons with Dopper and Badings.
