Kostov, Georgi, Bulgarian composer; b. Sofia, Jan. 21, 1941. He studied composition with Vladigerov and Stoyanov at the Bulgarian State Cons. in Sofia, graduating in 1966, and pursued his studies at the Moscow Cons. (1972). He then taught at his alma mater.
