L’Estocart, Paschal de
L’Estocart, Paschal de, French composer; b. Noyon, Picardy, 1539?; d. after 1584. He visited Italy in his youth and then matriculated at the Univ. of Basel (1581). His works, notable for their masterful harmonic writing, were particularly influenced by Italian models.
