Murakumo, Ayako, Japanese composer;, b. Gifu Prefecture, Feb. 25, 1949. She graduated from the Graduate School of Aichi Prefecture Univ. of the Arts (degree, 1982). She received the Nagoya City Cultural Promotion Prize (1985), the Incentive Prize for Original Theatrical Art from the Agency of Cultural Affairs (1986), and an award from the Kyushu competition (1988).
