Ogihara, Toshitsugu

Ogihara, Toshitsugu, Japanese composer; b. Osaka, June 6, 1910; d. Odawara, June 14, 1992. He studied composition with Matsudaira at Nihon Univ., and took private lessons with A. Tcherepnin during the latter’s stay in Japan. His music follows the classical models.
