Pullaer, Louis van

Pullaer, Louis van , Flemish composer; b. Cambrai, c. 1475; d. there, Sept. 21, 1528. He became an enfant de choeur at Cambrai Cathedral in 1485, and continued to sing there until 1494. After serving as director of the children’s choir at St. Denis in Liège (1495–1503), he was director of the cathedral choirs in Cambrai (1503–07) and Notre Dame in Paris (1507–27). He then was made a canon at Cambrai Cathedral. His best known work is the Missa Christe resurgens for 4 Voices.
