Sadaï, Yizhak (b Sofia, 1935). Bulgarian-born Israeli composer. Teacher in Jerusalem from 1960 and at Tel Aviv Univ. from 1966 (later prof. of mus.). Works incl. Prélude à Jerusalem, for 3 reciters, ch., and orch. (1968). Since being influenced by Pierre Schaeffer in 1966, many of his works have used tape.
