Sagaev, Dimiter , Bulgarian composer and teacher; b. Plovdiv, Feb. 27, 1915. He was a student of Stoyanov and Vladigerov at the Bulgarian State Cons. in Sofia (graduated, 1940), where he then taught. His music is Romantic in essence and national in its thematic resources.
