Siboni, Erik (Anthon Valdemar)
Siboni, Erik (Anthon Valdemar) , Danish organist, teacher, and composer of Italian parentage, son of Giuseppe (Vincenzo Antonio) Siboni; b. Copenhagen, Aug. 26, 1828; d. Frederiksberg, Feb. 11, 1892. He studied with J.P.E. Hartmann, then with Moscheles and Hauptmann at Leipzig and with Sechter at Vienna. He returned to Copenhagen, and in 1865 became organist and prof. of piano at the Soro Academy. He retired in 1883.
