Spadavecchia, Antonio (Emmanuilovich)

Spadavecchia, Antonio (Emmanuilovich), Russian composer; b. Odessa, June 3, 1907; d. Moscow, Feb. 7, 1988. He was of Italian descent. After training with Shebalin at the Moscow Cons. (graduated, 1937), he completed his studies with Prokofiev (1944).
