Terényi, Ede
Terényi, Ede, Romanian composer and teacher of Hungarian descent; b. Tîrgu-Mure§, March 12, 1935. He studied at the Tîrgu-Mures, Music Coll. (1942-52) and with Jodál and Demian at the Cluj Cons. (1952-58), and was on the latter’s faculty from 1960. In his compositions, he applies a variety of modernistic resources.
