Trnecčk, Hanuš
Trnecčk, Hanuš Bohemian harpist, pianist, pedagogue, and composer; b. Prague, May 16,1858; d. there, March 28,1914. He studied at the Prague Cons. He was harpist in the Schwerin Court Orch. (1882-88), and then taught harp and piano at the Prague Cons. He wrote some fine works for solo harp and didactic piano pieces which were widely known.

CHAMBER: 2 piano quintets; Piano Quartet; pieces for Violin, Cello, and Harp; Violin Sonata; solo harp pieces; much piano music, including over 50 etudes.
