Valvasensi, Lazaro

Valvasensi, Lazaro, Italian organist and composer; b. Valvasone, near Udine (baptized), June 20, 1585; d. there, June 26,1661. In 1622 he was an organist at Murano Cathedral (Venice), in 1626, choirmaster at Tolmezzo Cathedral (Udine), and from 1634 to 1640, an organist at Valvasone. Later he was apostolic protonotary and canon in Caorle.
