Viñao, Ezequiel

Viñao, Ezequiel, Argentine composer; b. Buenos Aires, July 21, 1960. As a child he studied in Buenos Aires with Jacobo Ficher, and then later attended the Dept. of Acoustic Musical Studies. Encouraged by the legendary American pianist Earl Wild and through the auspices of the United Nations, he then moved to N.Y, where he studied at the Juilliard School, his mentors including György Sandor, Adele Marcus, and Milton Babbitt; also studied with Messiaen in France (1987).
