ZagOrtsev, Vladimir
ZagOrtsev, Vladimir, Russian composer; b. Kiev, Oct. 27, 1944. He was a student of Liatoshinsky and Shtogarenko at the Kiev Cons. While he adopted total serial procedures, he also utilized Ukrainian folk melos in many of his works.
