(a radio broadcaster). Education: Attended Hope College, 1909–10; University of Illinois at Chicago Circle, medical degree, 1914; Western Theological Seminary, graduated, 1925.

CAREER: Physician in Byron's Corner, MI, c. 1914–21; pastor of a Christian Reformed church in Grand Rapids, MI, 1925–29; Calvary Undenominational Church, founder and pastor, 1929–38; Radio Bible Class, Grand Rapids, MI, founder and presenter, 1941–65.
