Born November 30, 1938, in Iran; son of Aram (a radio engineer) and Cosette (a French teacher) Galichian; married Mariette Arzoumanian (a counselor), 1963; children: Shahen. Ethnicity: "Armenian." Education: Aston University, B.Sc. (with first-class honors), 1964. Religion: Christian. Hobbies and other interests: Cartography, photography, music.
