Raymond M. Klass told CA: "When I first traveled to the great western national parks, I was only able to spend a day or two. Although the trip was inspirational, it left me wondering what I had missed. My projects, including work in Voyageurs National Park and along the Buffalo National River, answer that question. By photographing and exploring these vast public lands, and working in one-to two-month continuous time periods, I create a work that speaks to all the things that one might see: an adventure and a resource about some of America's wildest areas."
