CAREER:
Writer and illustrator. Justice of the peace in Durham, CT, 1994-96. Member of Lewis and Clark Trail Heritage Foundation and National Museum of the American Indian. Military service: U.S. Army, Infantry, 1969-71; became sergeant; received Bronze Star and Purple Heart.
