SIDELIGHTS: Steve Voake told CA:“In order to find the time to write my first novel, The Dreamwalker’s Child, I used to get up at three o’clock in the morning and work for several hours before anyone else was awake. Now that I am writing full-time, I try to set myself a minimum target of 1, 000 words a day to keep me from wandering off and playing the guitar too often.”
