Sidelights

Thomas E. "Ted" Burn has served as an art director and creative artist for numerous advertising agencies and individual corporate clients. He is also known throughout the American South for his watercolors of boats and

outdoor activities having to do with water. Burn illustrated Y Is for Yellowhammer: An Alabama Alphabet because he has particularly enjoyed painting landscapes of Alabama's coastal regions. His fine art is in collections in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Oregon, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
