Sidelights
Alisa M. Libby told SATA: "I've always been interested in writing, ever since I was a child. I don't feel quite right unless I'm inspired by something or in the midst of a project. It can be frustrating work when I don't know where a particular story line is headed, or if my vision of the final product becomes clouded. But I find joy in the craft of writing, and the tribulations are a necessary—if unpleasant—part of that process. I'm always on the hunt for inspiration, in everything I see, hear, and read. Most of what I've learned about writing has come from reading critically and dissecting books that I like and dislike, to discover what works for me as a reader and a writer."
