Multibus Trademark A flexible bus structure designed by Intel Corp. that was used in many early commercial microprocessor systems. Multibus is capable of supporting both 8- and 16-bit processors and 20-bit addresses, allowing up to one megabyte of physical address space. It supports master-slave and multi-master configurations, with handshaking to permit devices of different speeds to communicate.Up to 16 masters can share Multibus resources.
