rerun
re·run • v. / rēˈrən/ (-run·ning; past -ran; past part. -run) [tr.] show or perform (something, esp. a television program) again.• n. / ˈrēˌrən/ a program, event, or competition that occurs or is run again: a rerun of the Mideast crisis watching reruns on TV.
rerun
rerun To run a program again, usually due to a machine malfunction. (The word is also used as a noun.) Some languages allow the programmer to specify restart points: at such points a memory image is preserved so that in the event of a rerun the program does not need to be restarted from scratch.
