Bølling interstadial
Bølling interstadial A relatively warm period that occurred towards the end of the last (Devensian) glaciation in north-western Europe, and which is named after the type site in Denmark. The event took place about 13 000–12 000 radiocarbon years bp. In Britain, the Bølling is not usually distinguished from the Allerød. See also Dryas.
