Abraham, Raimund Johann
Abraham, Raimund Johann (1933– ). Austrian-born American architect. Prompted by the idea of ‘collision’ in architecture, much of his work was theoretical and utopian, although he built several houses (e.g. Pless House, Vienna (1960–4), Dellacher House, Oberwarth (1963–7), and Prefabricated Houses, RI, USA (1968–70)). He designed a residential and office building, Friedrichstrasse, Berlin (1986–7), apartments, Traviatagasse, Vienna (1987–92), and a residential and commercial complex, Graz, Austria (1992).
