capillary fragility
capillary fragility A measure of the resistance to rupture of the small blood vessels (capillaries), which would lead to leakage of red blood cells into tissue spaces. Deficiency of vitamin C can lead to increased capillary fragility, and there is some evidence that the flavonoids reduce capillary fragility.
