Ehrenkrantz, Ezra David (1932– ). American architect and inventor of a system using standardized prefabricated components for low-cost school buildings with adaptable plans, of which the School Construction System Development, Pilot Unit, Stanford, CA (1964), is an example. He restored the Art Deco Woolworth Tower, NYC (1980), and designed many educational buildings, including Canaday Hall, Harvard University, Cambridge, MA (1974), and the Henle Student Village, Georgetown University, Washington, DC (1980).
