Huvé, Jean-Jacques-Marie
Huvé, Jean-Jacques-Marie (1783–1852). French architect. A pupil of his father, Jean-Jacques Huvé(1742–1808), and Percier, he later worked with Vignon at the Temple de la Gloire, Paris, and later became sole architect, completing it (1817–42) as the Madeleine, a sumptuous Roman temple. He was Architect to the Paris hospices and to the postal service.
