lozenge. Diamond-or rhomboid-shaped equilateral parallelogram with two opposite angles more acute than the other two. Lozenges occur in mouldings, on diaper-patterns, in jewelled strapwork, in window-lights subdivided by lead cames (see lattice), and as small lights over Gothic lancet-lights in tracery, in net-vaults, and in many other instances.
