Lurago Family

Lurago Family. Italian architects, active in Bohemia. Carlo (c.1618–84) designed the mon-astery at Kladno (1663–8) and the Collegium Clementinum, Prague (1654–8). The best-known member of the family was Anselmo Martino, who was active in Prague until 1765. The Luragos were important for the evolution of Baroque and Rococo architecture in Bohemia.
