Martinelli, Anton Erhard
Martinelli, Anton Erhard (1684–1747). Austrian master-builder and architect. He was involved in the erection of many of the most important Viennese buildings of the early C18, notably Fischer von Erlach's Karlskirche (1715–37) and Fischer and von Hildenbrandt's Schwarzenberg Palais (begun 1697). He designed the Invalidenhaus (later the Town Hall), Pest (1721–37), and carried out numerous works for the Esterházy family.
