Opbergen, Antonius van
Opbergen, Antonius van (1543–1611). Flemish architect who worked at the Royal Palace of Kronborg, Helsingør, Denmark (1577–86), and designed the Arsenal in Danzig (now Gdańsk, Poland), one of the great buildings in the Flemish Renaissance style (1601–9). He also designed several fine houses in Gdańsk with Jan Strakowski (d. 1640), built 1597–1600.
