Padula, Ernesto Bruno La

Padula, Ernesto Bruno La (1902–69). Italian architect, he became a member of the Italian Movement for Rationalist Architecture (MIAR). He designed the Knights of Columbus Foundation (1934) and the Palace of Italian Civilization (1938–9—known as the ‘Square Colosseum’), both in Rome, two of the most powerful examples of Rationalism of the Fascist era.
