Philander or Philandrier, Guillaume (1505–65). French architect whose translation of and annotations on Vitruvius (1544 and later editions) were greatly respected in C16 as major sources for architectural theory and precedent. He is said to have studied under Serlio, and designed the tomb of Cardinal d'Armagnac in Toulouse Cathedral.
