Raguer
Raguer. French for to chafe or irritate, so applied to a phase of the mid-C19 Gothic Revival in France characterized by perversity, discordance, and aggressive originality owing little to precedent. It had much in common with English and American Rogue Gothic by Keeling and others. See Rageur.
