Rice Krispies Trade name for a breakfast cereal prepared by ‘explosion puffing’ of rice. A 30‐g portion is a rich source of vitamins B6, B12, and niacin; a good source of vitamins B1 and B2; a source of vitamin D and iron; provides 400 mg of sodium, 0.3 g of dietary fibre; supplies 125  kcal (530 kJ).
