Snozzi, Luigi (1932– ). Swiss architect. He designed the Snider House, Verscio (1965–6), the Elementary School, San Nazzaro (1973–8), the Bianchetti House, Locarno Monti (1975–7), the Cavalli House, Verscio (1976–8), the Heschl House, Agarone (1983–4), and the Elementary School, involving the restoration of the St-Augustine Convent, Monte Carasso (1992), all in Switzerland, testifying to his concern for the environment, his belief that there is nothing to invent, and that any destruction must be done intelligently with reference to the past.
