Boomer Esiason Foundation Scholarship Program (All/Scholarship)
Purpose: To provide educational assistance for students with cystic fibrosis. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be proven to have been diagnosed with cystic fibrosis. Criteria: Grantees will be selected based on scholastic merits and type of lifestyle.
Funds Avail.: $500-$2000. Number Awarded: 10-15. To Apply: Applicants must submit an application form available at the website. Exercise For Life Athletic Scholarships Program (Undergraduate/Scholarship)
Purpose: To provide educational assistance to student athletes with cystic fibrosis. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be high school senior athletes pursuing undergraduate degrees. Criteria: Grantees will be selected according to financial need, academic accomplishment and athletic ability.
Funds Avail.: $10,000. Number Awarded: 2. To Apply: Applicants must submit an application form (available at the website); EFL training log (print from website); an essay (one-page, single-spaced) on the importance of exercise and compliance; recent photo; letter from physician (on letterhead) confirming CF diagnosis and therapy routine; recent W2 form verification for both parents; high school transcript; letter of acceptance from a college institution; and signed waiver.
