Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide support to the individuals intending to pursue their career in aircraft electronics and aviation maintenance industry. Focus: Aviation. Qualif.: Applicant must be a high school senior and/or college student who plans to or are attending an accredited school in an avionics or aircraft repair program. Criteria: Selection of candidates will be based on their application materials.

David Arver Memorial Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide support for individuals intending to pursue their career in aircraft electronics and aviation maintenance industry. Focus: Aviation. Qualif.: Applicant must be a high school senior and/or college students planning to or are attending an accredited school in an avionics or aircraft repair program. Criteria: Selection of candidates will be based on their application materials.

Remarks: Scholarship given by Dutch and Ginger Arver in memory of their son, David. Dutch Arver was a strong supporter of the AEA for many years and served on the board of Directors until his retirement.

Johnny Davis Memorial Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide support to the individuals who wants to pursue their career in aircraft electronics and aviation maintenance industry. Focus: Aviation. Qualif.: Applicant must be a high school senior and/or college student who plans to or are attending an accredited school in an avionics or aircraft repair program. Criteria: Selection of candidates will be based on their application materials.

Remarks: Scholarship is named in memory of Johnny Davis, president of Dallas Avionics, Dallas, Texas, who supported general aviation for over 30 years and served as an AEA Associate Board Member.

Duncan Aviation Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide support to the individuals intending to pursue their career in aircraft electronics and aviation maintenance industry. Focus: Aviation. Qualif.: Applicant must be a high school senior and/or college students who plan to or are attending an accredited school in an avionics or aircraft repair program. Criteria: Selection of candidates will be based on the criteria of the scholarship committee.

Field Aviation Co., Inc. Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide support to the individuals intending to pursue their career in aircraft electronics and aviation maintenance industry. Focus: Aviation. Lowell Gaylor Memorial Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide support to the individuals intending to pursue their career in aircraft electronics and aviation maintenance industry. Focus: Aviation. Qualif.: Applicant must be a high school senior and/or college students who plan to or are attending an accredited school in an avionics or aircraft repair program. Criteria: Selection of candidates will be based on their application materials.

Remarks: Scholarship is named in memory of Lowell Gaylor, president of AvEL Co., Dallas, Texas, who supported general aviation and the AEA for over 25 yrs.

Bud Glover Memorial Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide support for individuals intending to pursue their career in aircraft electronics and aviation maintenance industry. Focus: Aviation. Qualif.: Applicant must be a high school senior and/or college students who plan to or are attending an accredited school in an avionics or aircraft repair program. Criteria: Selection of candidates will be based on their application materials.

Remarks: Scholarship is named in memory of Bud Glover, former vice president of general aviation sales for Bendix/King. Bud was a 25-year contributor to our avionics industry.

Leon Harris/Les Nichols Memorial Scholarships to Spartan College of Aeronautics & Technology (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide support for individuals intending to pursue a career in aircraft electronics and aviation maintenance industry. Focus: Aviation. Qualif.: Applicant must be a student planning to pursue an Associate's Degree in Applied Science in Aviation Electronics (avionics) at Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology campus in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Criteria: Selection of candidates will be based on their application materials.

Remarks: Award will cover all tuition expenses for eight quarters or until the recipient completes an Associate's Degree.

Don C. Hawkins Memorial Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Monte R. Mitchell Global Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide support to the individuals intending to pursue their career in aircraft electronics and aviation maintenance industry. Focus: Aviation. Qualif.: Applicant must be a European student pursuing a degree in aviation maintenance technology, avionics or aircraft repair at an accredited school located in Europe or the United States. Criteria: Selection of candidates will be based on the criteria of the scholarship committee.

Chuck Peacock Memorial Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To recognize the importance of management skills. Focus: Aviation. Qualif.: Applicant must be high school seniors and/or college students who plan to or are attending an accredited school in an aviation management program. Criteria: Selection of candidates will be based on their application materials.

Remarks: Scholarship is given by Wanda Peacock in memory of her late husband Chuck. As the founder of the Aircraft Electronics Association, Chuck credited his aviation and business management skills as the cornerstones for his success in the industry.

Plane and Pilot Magazine/Garmin Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: Focus: Qualif.: Applicant must be a high school, college or vocational/technical school students who plan to or are attending an accredited vocational/technical school in an avionics or aircraft repair program. Criteria: Candidates will be selected based on their application materials.

Kei Takemoto Memorial Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Qualif.: Applicant must be an individual who wants to pursue their Associates Degree in Applied Science or a diploma in Aviation Maintenance Technology at Spartan College of Aeronautics & Technology's campus in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Criteria: Selection of applicants will be based on the scholarship criteria.
