Robby Baker Memorial Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide financial support to those deserving students. Focus: General Studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be coping with dyslexia or other reading disability; must have earned a minimum of 2.5 GPA and must be enrolled as full time students in an accredited college or university. Criteria: Preference will be given to those students who meet the criteria.

Notah Begay III Scholarship Program (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide financial assistance to those students who are in need. Focus: General Studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be Native American scholar athletes; must have a minimum GPA 3.0; must attend a community college, 4 year college or university full time. Criteria: Preference will be given to those students who meet the criteria.

Funds Avail.: $2,000. To Apply: Applicants must submit the following: copy of FAFSA, Student Aid Report or statement of financial aid; proof of tribal enrollment or Certificate of Indian Blood (minimum 25%); one reference from a current academic teacher or counselor; one reference from an athletic coach; include in your personal statement how you plan to give back to your community after college. Bryan Cline Memorial Soccer Scholarship Program (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To support the education of graduating senior varsity soccer players. Focus: General Studies. Qualif.: Applicants must attend a college or university full time.

Criteria: Preference will be given to those students who meet the criteria.

Funds Avail.: No specific amount. To Apply: Applicants must submit a completed application form including the name of your varsity soccer team coach and two letters of reference- one from a teacher or counselor and one from a soccer coach.

Excel Staffing Companies Scholarships for Excellence in Continuing Education (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To assist individuals who demonstrate a commitment towards reaching a career goal. Focus: General Studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be individuals who are employed full time while attending school part time; must be residents of Albuquerque; must have a minimum of 3.0 GPA; must be working with a minimum of 30 hours per week. Criteria: Preference will be given to those students who meet the criteria.

New Mexico Manufactured Housing Association Scholarship Program (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide scholarship awards to New Mexico high school graduates residing in a manufactured home. Focus: General Studies. Qualif.: Applicants must live in a mobile/manufactured home; must have earned a minimum GPA 3.0; must attend a college or university full time. Criteria: Preference will be given to those students who meet the criteria.

Funds Avail.: $1,000. To Apply: Applicants must submit the following: written statement of financial need; proof of residency in a mobile/manufactured home: a copy of title or rental agreement or retail installment contract or county tax assessment; one reference from a teacher or counselor (1 page, 1 side only). Barnes W. Rose, Jr. and Eva Rose Nichol Scholarship Fund (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide financial assistance to those students who are in need. Focus: Engineering. Qualif.: Applicants must demonstrate math and/or science interest and skill through SAT/ACF scores and/or strong grades in appropriate high school classes; must have a minimum of 3.6 GPA; must demonstrate financial need; must attend a college or university in pursuit of an engineering degree. Criteria: Preference will be given to those students who meet the criteria.

Sussman-Miller Educational Assistance Award Program (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide financial assistance to address the gap in financial aid packages for both students beginning

their college careers and those continuing their undergraduate work. Focus: General Studies. Qualif.: Applicants must attend a college or university full-time; must be graduating high school seniors or currently enrolled in college/university; must be federal financial aid recipients. Criteria: Preference will be given to those students who meet the criteria.

Woodcock Family Education Scholarship Program (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To support students of exceptional promise in the fields of science and math. Focus: Math; Science. Qualif.: Applicants must be Albuquerque graduating high school seniors; with strong math and/or science credentials; must attend a college or university full time; must have a minimum GPA of 3.8; Criteria: Preference will be given to those students who meet the criteria.

Funds Avail.: $11,000. To Apply: Applicants must attach these to their application packet: career goals in personal statement MUST include those in the field of math or science; one reference from a math or science teacher; one or more references from other teachers, internship or work programs, or community services.
