Dr. Guido Goldman Fellowships (Doctorate, Postdoctorate/Fellowship)

Purpose: To promote the study of German and European issues by American scholars. Focus: European studies; German studies. Qualif.: Applicant must be U.S. citizen; postgraduate student; or enrolled in PhD programs and finishing their dissertation. Criteria: Selection Committee will select applicants based on the contribution the project will make to an understanding of the economics and foreign relations of Germany, Europe, and North America; the feasibility of the proposed project; the training of the applicant; and the scholarly potential of the applicant.

Funds Avail.: Covers the cost of pre-approved international and domestic travel and a per diem of $150. To Apply: Applicants must submit a cover letter, outlining the applicant's professional and personal objectives for the fellowship; a project proposal (two pages); a current CV; and two letters of reference. Deadline: July 6.
