Marvin A. Andrews Scholarships/Internships (Graduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide the scholarship recipient the opportunity to intern with a participating Arizona city, town or county. Focus: Public Administration. Qualif.: Applicants must be full-time students attending either Arizona State University, Northern Arizona University or the University of Arizona who have exhibited strong academic achievement. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on demonstrated strong academic achievement.

Funds Avail.: No specific amount. To Apply: Applicants must submit: completed application form; resume; two letters of recommendation; an official graduate-level transcript; a letter addressed to Gayle Mabery, ACMA President addressing their interest in local government management, career goals and financial need or plans for using the scholarship. Charles A. Esser Memorial Scholarships (Graduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To honor and financially assist Arizona graduate students in public administration who aspire to a career in

local government management. Focus: Public administration. Qualif.: Applicants must be part-time MPA students attending either Arizona State University, Northern Arizona University or the University of Arizona who are currently working in local government. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on demonstrated strong academic achievement.
