Description:

State-supported, university, coed. Awards associate, bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees and post-master's certificates. Founded 1918. Social organizations: 330 open to all; national fraternities, national sororities; 10% of eligible men and 10% of eligible women are members. Community Environment:

Muncie is the county seat and the largest city in east-central Indiana. It is located on the White River, 66 miles northeast of Indianapolis. All forms of commercial transportation are available.
