Description: State-supported, comprehensive, coed. Awards bachelor's and master's degrees and post-master's certificates. Founded 1855. Setting: 255-acre suburban campus with easy access to Philadelphia. Endowment: $4.8 million. Research spending 2002-03: $3.7 million. Educational spending 2002-03: $7612 per student. Total enrollment: 6,912. Faculty: 664 (326 full-time, 338 part-time). Campus security: 24-hour emergency response devices and patrols, student patrols, late night transport-escort service, controlled dormitory access. College housing designed to accommodate 3,561 students; 3,587 undergraduates lived in college housing during 2001-02. Option: coed housing available. Roscoe L. West Library with 550,000 books, 319,000 microform titles, 7,900 serials, 4,000 audiovisual materials, an OPAC, and a Web page.
