Lt. Holly Adams Memorial Scholarship (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To help students in planning their postsecondary education. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be students from the Page High School area in Williamson County who not only achieve, but also possess the integrity, courage, and caring spirit to help others achieve. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on financial need.

Kathy D. and Stephen J. Anderson Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To help students in planning their postsecondary education. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be graduate students from the Page High School area in Williamson County, who have attended for a minimum of three years. Applicants must be in good standing as citizens in the school and community. Applicants must have a 3.2 or better GPA and minimum ACT score of 22 or SAT of 1100. Applicants must be involved in at least one extracurricular activity. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on financial need.

Dody Boyd Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To help students in planning their postsecondary education. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be seniors graduating from Cheatham County Central High School and wishing to attend a two-year community college/technical school or four-year university. Applicants must have a GPA of at least 2.5 or better and an ACT score of 20 or better. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on financial need.

JoAhn Brown-Nash Memorial Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

William and Clara Bryan Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To help students in planning their postsecondary education. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be high school seniors, or college freshmen, sophomores or juniors who are from Giles County, Tennessee and have lived there for the majority of their pre-college schooling. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on merit and financial need.

Leigh Carter Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To help students in planning their postsecondary education. Focus: Health care services. Qualif.: Applicants must be full-time students attending one of the nation’s accredited chiropractic colleges or universities. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on the financial need, interest in health care delivery, extracurricular and civic participation.

Cheatham County Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To help students in planning their postsecondary education. Focus: General Studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be Cheatham County, Tennessee residents for a minimum period of one year. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED with a GPA of 2.0 or better. Applicants must attend an accredited college, university, or technical school and maintain a grade point average of 2.0 or better. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on financial need, extracurricular and civic participation.

Choose Your Future Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To help students in planning their postsecondary education. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be graduates of the Metropolitan Nashville Public School of Davidson County with a minimum GPA of 2.5 and a score of 21 on the ACT. Applicants must be attending a college or university in the United States. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on financial need, extracurricular and civic participation.

Howard A. Clark Horticulture Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To help students in planning their postsecondary education. Focus: Horticulture. Qualif.: Applicants must be graduating seniors from Avery County High School, North Carolina, attending a two or four-year college to study horticulture or agriculture. Applicants must have at least a 2.5 GPA in high school. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on financial need, extracurricular and civic participation.

The Community Foundation DBI Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To help students in planning their postsecondary education. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be graduating high school seniors, undergraduates and graduates enrolling or enrolled at an accredited college/university, junior college or technical/vocational school on a full-time basis, maintaining a B average or better. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on financial need, extracurricular and civic participation.

Purpose: To help students in planning their postsecondary education. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be young men or women whose parents have discontinued financial support for their education because they are gay or lesbian. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on financial need, extracurricular and civic participation.

Colonel Richard M. Dawson Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To help students in planning their postsecondary education. Focus: Criminal justice. Qualif.: Applicants must be children of employees of the Tennessee Highway Patrol who serve in uniform, undercover, or plainclothes. Applicants must be rising sophomores, juniors, or seniors in college who demonstrate a commitment to a career in criminal justice through their course of study. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on financial need, extracurricular and civic participation.

B.J. Dean Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To help students in planning their postsecondary education. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be a female preparing for full-time ministry, but scholarship is not limited to those seeking ordination or serving in any particular denomination. Applicant must be a resident of Tennessee or Texas or be enrolled in Yale Dignity School. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on financial need, extracurricular and civic participation.

Jimmy Edwards Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To help students in planning their postsecondary education. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be past students or graduates of Donelson High School, and descendents of alumni of Donelson High School. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on financial need, extracurricular and civic participation.

Fine Arts and Music Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To help students in planning their postsecondary education. Focus: Fine arts; Music. Qualif.: Applicants must be rising sophomores, juniors and seniors in college, and graduate students at an accredited college, university, or institute full-time or part-time (6 or more credits). Criteria: Recipients are selected based on financial need, extracurricular and civic participation.

Pauline LaFon Gore Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To help students in planning their postsecondary education. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be high school seniors and current college underclassmen who are from Smith County, Tennessee and have lived there for the majority of their pre-college schooling. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on financial need, extracurricular and civic participation.

Frank and Charlene Harris Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To help students in planning their postsecondary education. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be seniors of Cumberland Gap High School in Clair-borne County, TN. Applicants should have a GPA of 3.0 or higher at the time of the application. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on financial need, extracurricular and civic participation.

Regina Higdon Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To help students in planning their postsecondary education. To help graduates of Christ the King School of Nashville, Tennessee who have a desire to attend either Father Ryan High School or St. Cecilia Academy, both in Nashville, Tennessee. Focus: Art. Qualif.: Applicants must be graduating eighth graders of Christ the King School and/or former graduates of Christ the King School attending Father Ryan High School or St. Cecilia Academy. Applicants must have at least a 2.5 GPA or equivalent. Applicants must exhibit a love for the arts. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on financial need, extracurricular and civic participation.

Jennifer Ingrum Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To help students in planning their postsecondary education. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be students who qualify academically for college but need financial assistance. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on financial need, extracurricular and civic participation.

Maude Keisling/Cumberland County Extension Homemakers Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To help students in planning their postsecondary education. Focus: Ecology; Education; Social work. Qua-lif.: Applicants must be residents of Cumberland County, Tennessee for a period of four years or more. Applicants must be graduating high school seniors, GED graduates, or current college undergraduates with a GPA of 2.5 or better. Applicants must pursue a field of study such as, but not limited to, human ecology, family and consumer science, education, and social services. Knox-Hume Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To help students in planning their postsecondary education. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be graduates of Hume-Fogg High School who exhibit academic merit and financial need. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on financial need, extracurricular and civic participation.

Senator Carl O. Koella, Jr. Memorial Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To help students in planning their postsecondary education. Focus: Law. Qualif.: Applicants must be legislative interns, either public or private, currently enrolled or planning to enroll in a four-year college the year of the application. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on financial need, extracurricular and civic participation.

Michael B. Kruse Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To help students in planning their postsecondary education. Focus: Accounting. Qualif.: Applicants must be rising juniors, seniors, and graduate students majoring in accounting. Applicants must be residents of Tennessee and attend an accredited college/university in the State of Tennessee. Applicants must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.2 or better. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on financial need, extracurricular and civic participation.

Heloise Werthan Kuhn Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To help students in planning their postsecondary education. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be pregnant or parenting teens. Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll in postsecondary education at an accredited college, university, junior college, technical school, or job training program as a way to increase their job skills and become more employable. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on financial need, extracurricular and civic participation.

Diane G. Lowe and John Gomez, IV Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To help students in planning their postsecondary education. To provide financial assistance to students who would be otherwise unable to take qualifying entrance exams to institutions of higher learning and to provide gifted students financial assistance to attend academic programs that offer intellecutally-accelerated content. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be students with financial need in Grades 6-12 who reside in Rutherford, Cannon, Dekalb, or Wilson Counties. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on financial need, extracurricular and civic participation.

Dr. Mac Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To help students in planning their postsecondary education. Focus: Dentistry. Qualif.: Applicants must be enrolled at the University of Tennessee at Memphis School of Dentistry and entering their third year of school with a minimum of 2.7 GPA. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on financial need, extracurricular and civic participation.

Edna Martin Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To help students in planning their postsecondary education. Focus: Education. Qualif.: Applicants must be high school seniors, or individuals who previously graduated

from the Davidson County-Metropolitan Nashville Public School System, who have a desire to pursue a career in teaching in elementary, middle, or high school. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on financial need, extracurricular and civic participation.

Juliann and Joseph Maxwell Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To help students in planning their postsecondary education. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be high school seniors, college freshmen, sophomores, and juniors who are dependent children, including adopted and stepchildren of employees, or full-time or part-time employees of the Tractor Supply Company. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on financial need, extracurricular and civic participation.

Archie Hartwell Nash Memorial Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To help students in planning their postsecondary education. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be Middle Tennessee State University sophomores or

above including graduate students who are working at a minimum of 20 hours and have a GPA of 2.0 or better. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on financial need, extracurricular and civic participation.

Jerry Newson Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To help students in planning their postsecondary education. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must currently reside in Davidson County, Tennessee. High school graduates and adults are encouraged to apply. Applicants must be pursuing a degree in the social sciences or areas where they will be helping and giving back to their community. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on financial need, extracurricular and civic participation.

Eloise Pitts O’More Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To help students in planning their postsecondary education. Focus: Interior Design. Qualif.: Applicants must be interior design students who are currently pursuing a degree in interior design at O’More College of Design. Applicants must be classified as juniors or higher and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher at the time of application. Applicants must be actively participating members of either the American Society of Interior Design and/or International Design Association’s student chapters. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on financial need, extracurricular and civic participation.

Buster Pool Memorial Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To help students in planning their postsecondary education. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be graduating seniors of Meridian High School in Meridian, Mississippi and/or previous recipients of this scholarship. Applicants must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher at the time of application. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on financial need, extracurricular and civic participation.

Barbara Hagan Richards Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To help students in planning their postsecondary education. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be graduating seniors, undergraduates, and/or graduate students currently enrolled in a college/university and/or alumni of any high school located and serving Giles County, Tennessee. Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on financial need, extracurricular and civic participation.

James Edward “Bill” Richards Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To help students in planning their postsecondary education. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be graduating seniors, undergraduates, and/or alumni of East High School in Nashville, Tennessee. Applicants must have a GPA of at least 3.0. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on financial need, extracurricular and civic participation.

Meyer and Dorothy Silverman Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To help students in planning their postsecondary education. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be students in Grade 7 to 12 in Oak Ridge Public Schools who are committed to developing their talents as string instrument players but who, otherwise, would be financially unable to take private string instruction. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on financial need, extracurricular and civic participation.

Drue Smith/Society of Professional Journalists Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To help students in planning their postsecondary education. Focus: Journalism. Qualif.: Applicants must be college juniors, seniors or graduate students who have graduated from high school in Middle Tennessee and have chosen journalism or broadcast news for a career, or mid-career working journalists who seek training to develop professionally or further their careers. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on financial need, extracurricular and civic participation.

Richie Stevenson Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To help students in planning their postsecondary education. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants

must be graduates of Benton Hall School who wish to attend a technical school, vocational school, community college, junior or four-year college or university. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on the financial need, extracurricular and civic participation.

Tennessee Trucking Association Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To help students in planning their postsecondary education. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be Tennessee residents who are dependent children, spouses or employees who are members in good standing of the Tennessee Trucking Association. Applicants must be entering their junior or senior years at accredited colleges or universities located in the State of Tennessee. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on financial need, extracurricular and civic participation.

Teddy Wilburn Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Qualif.: Applicants must be students enrolling or currently enrolled at Tennessee State University or Vanderbilt University; Applicants must have at least a B grade average overall during the last two years of high school; must have attended high school within the 40 counties of Middle Tennessee for the majority of high school. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on financial need, extracurricular and civic participation.

The Woman’s Club of Nashville Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To help students in planning their postsecondary education. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be women residing in Davidson County, Tennessee. Applicants must be graduating high school seniors or high school graduates with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on financial need, extracurricular and civic participation.

John W. Work III Memorial Foundation Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To help students in planning their postsecondary education. Focus: Music. Qualif.: Applicants must be undergraduate juniors, seniors, or graduate students pursuing a degree in music at an accredited university, college or institute. Applicants must have a B average and demonstrate potential for excellence in music. Special preference will be given to African Americans.
