Description:
State and locally supported, 2-year, coed. Part of Dallas County Community College District System. Awards certificates, transfer associate, and terminal associate degrees. Founded 1970. Setting: 244-acre suburban campus with easy access to Dallas-Fort Worth. Educational spending 2003-04: $4091 per student. Total enrollment: 11,666. Student-undergrad faculty ratio is 23:1. 516 applied, 100% were admitted. Full-time: 2,239 students, 54% women, 46% men. Part-time: 9,427 students, 60% women, 40% men.
